Wednesday, August 3rd
1:00pm – 6:00am
with all-night Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
The World Apostolate of Fatima USA is launching a Fatima Centennial U.S. Tour for Peace with the International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima. The purpose is to bring Our Lady’s timeless message of peace to a world in need and to allow Our Lady of Fatima to claim her dominion over our country and enliven in people a sense of prayer and personal holiness.
The tour commenced on March 21, 2016 and runs through December of 2017 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Fatima apparitions, which began with the Angel of Peace in 1916. Our Lady will visit 100 dioceses in all 50 states during this time. She will reinforce the message to Catholics of the Real Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, the power of praying the Rosary to bring about peace in the world, and the value of suffering for the conversion of sinners.
Remember how her intercession brought an end to a world at war and helped fight against the ‘red army’ of atheistic communism? Similar spiritual battles continue today.
This world famous statue will bless the Diocese of Gaylord on August 1-7, 2016. On August 3 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. she will be visiting St. Joseph Chapel in McBain while the Blessed Sacrament is exposed all night.
Will you answer the Blessed Mother’s call to spend one hour with her and her Son and make this nightly sacrifice? Each hour will begin with a praying of the rosary. Three o’clock hours will also include the praying of the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Quiet time will follow.
Has someone in your family left the Catholic Church? Is there someone you know who desperately needs your prayers? Do you know of someone with a terminal illness and needs the comfort of your prayers? ONE HOUR could provide the answer to all these questions and many more.
Please make this promise to Our Lord and sign up for one hour of prayer and Adoration on August 3-4. The statue will depart on August 4 at 6:00 a.m. for St. Mary’s Church in Mio. Prayer is the power we have to change our world through Jesus and Mary’s intercession.
There is someone in the entrance of the Church to sign you up for this commitment as well as give you a map to St. Joseph Chapel. Thank you in advance for your positive response. Questions or to sign up, please contact Pat Crane 826-3326 or 920-0238.
