Are you looking for a way to deepen your prayer life and grow in your relationship with God?
Lectio Divina is one of the great treasures of the Christian contemplative prayer rooted in Benedictine tradition. It is a powerful way of immersing yourself in God by prayerful reading of scripture or other spiritual writing with the purpose of grounding our prayers as if in intimate conversation with God. Very often, our personal life intertwines with our meditations on the scriptures through God coming to us in silence. According to Pope Benedict XVI, lectio divina may bring about an intimate dialogue with Christ.
